As someone na very ambitious, ang pinaka-unang priority ko lagi ay career ko. So parang if that partner doesn&#x27;t recognize that thing about you, mahihirapan kayong mag-work,” Bernardino confessed.“Career talaga ang number one sa akin,” he added.Citing the demanding nature of showbusiness, he went on to say, “[For example], I&#x27;d come home from a very exhausting gig and want to rest. And you&#x27;d demand something from me. Eh wala na akong kayang ibuhos pa.”The “happily single” artist added, “I don’t think I’ll commit pa anytime soon kasi I’m still [working on finding] self-love and peace na gusto at kailangan ko.”In response to the question of what he would have told his younger self, he said, “My experiences all had one thing in common: I wanted to please everyone. If ever na makausap ko ang younger self ko, [ang sasabihin ko], ‘Ang validation lang na kailangan mo [comes] from yourself. All you have to do is learn to love yourself first. Everything will follow. Hindi mo kailangang pilitin ‘yung mga bagay kasi the universe will grant what you ask for.’”Speaking of his younger self, the Cup of Joe vocalist also revealed that he was bullied in senior high.“Nasa Qatar kami from 2004 to 2017. Nung umuwi ako ng Pinas for senior high school, naka-encounter ako ng bullying. They saw a soft boy na madaling awayin kaya parang naging easy target,” he said.
