However, only Taeyong, Johnny, Yuta, Jaehyun and Haechan will participate, as Doyoung and Jungwoo are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service.The announcement follows a string of departures by other NCT members from SM this year, including <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2026/4/3/k-pop-star-mark-lee-leaves-nct-label-sm-entertainment-1524">Mark Lee</a> and <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2026/7/8/k-pop-star-winwin-exits-nct-label-sm-entertainment-1454">Winwin</a>, both of whom were previously part of NCT 127.Ten, a Thai member, also <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/music/2026/4/6/k-pop-star-ten-leaves-sm-entertainment-stays-in-nct-1323">exited the label </a>but said he would continue participating in NCT activities when possible.Launched in 2016, NCT, which stands for Neo Culture Technology, is a boy band with more than 20 members performing across various sub-units.
