MANILA — Full of excitement, singer Nina teased fans with the upcoming “Nina XX The Repeat” concert after a successful one last May 2026, as part of the celebration for her 20th anniversary in the music industry.The singer shared that the much-anticipated concert will include some of her “iconic” songs from the ‘Nina Live’ album which were not included in the first concert, citing that these songs are still what her fans look forward to hearing from her.“There will be a lot of songs that we didn’t include in the first one. A lot of people are looking for some of the songs from ‘Nina Live’ album,” Nina said.“And because we cannot put all of the ‘Nina Live’ songs in one concert… So, we included some of the songs that weren’t on the first one,” she added.She also reiterated that she will no longer do another ‘Nina Live’ concert, but reassured fans that songs from the album will always be part of her performances in the future.“I don’t want to close that chapter, the ‘Nina Live’ chapter, because ‘Nina Live’ is me. I love to sing live in front of people,” said Nina.The repeat concert will be directed by Director Calvin Neria, together with Musical Director Soc Mina.Neria emphasized that as a director, it is important to “listen to feedback”, noting that they will give and do more in the show for the fans.“As a director, I listen to feedback and I listen to online comments, I read mga comments online… We need to give more or do more in the show na talagang gusto nila,” he shared.He added that he has been pitching a show concept to Nina and her manager about a “tribute show to a famous Filipino composer,” adding that it’s something new for the supporters.“Meron akong inaawit sa kanya na konsepto, sa kanya at sa manager niya… I hope this pushes through... It’s a show, hindi siya ‘Nina Live of course, not a show na parang typical. Ang inaawit ko is a collaboration, it’s not really a collaboration, but it’s a tribute show wherein she will sing songs of a very iconic Filipino singer,” Neria added.The repeat concert will happen on September 24, 8:00 p.m. at the Newport Performing Arts Theater wherein fans can also expect performances from Nina’s special guests, Christian Bautista, Thor, and Top Suzara of ‘Freestyle. Tickets are now available at ticketworld.com.ph.Meanwhile, Nina thanked her fans for the continuous support throughout her music career.“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta nung first show… [I’m] so really grateful and overwhelmed sa lahat ng suporta and pagmamahal ng lahat ng tao for me and my music,” she expressed.
