<p>TWICE member Jeongyeon is entering a new chapter in her career after officially signing an exclusive contract with VARO Entertainment.</p><div> </div><p>According to Korean news outlet Soompi, Jeongyeon signed with the agency on the same day she announced her departure from JYP Entertainment, where she had been for 11 years.</p><div> </div><p>“We are sincerely happy to create a special connection with Yu Jeongyeon, who has diverse charms and limitless potential. The agency’s roster also includes Korean actors Byeon Woo-seok (<em>Perfect Crown, Lovely Runner</em>), Jin Goo (<em>Descendants</em> <em>of the Sun</em>), Lee Chae-min (<em>Crash Course in Romance, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty</em>), Lee Hong-nae (<em>The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, The Uncanny Counter</em>) and more.</p><div> </div><p>Jeongyeon also personally addressed fans following her departure from JYP Entertainment. On Instagram, she shared a handwritten letter reflecting on her 11 years with the agency and her decision to move forward with a new chapter.</p><div> </div><p>“Hello, this is Jeongyeon. After giving a lot of thought to how to express my feelings, I am sharing this letter with you all. JYP has been my second home since my teenage years; a place where I’ve spent so much time and created so many cherished memories. I am also very grateful to the JYP family who helped me grow into the person I am today.”</p><div> </div><p>Despite her departure from JYP Entertainment, Jeongyeon made it clear that her commitment to TWICE remains unchanged.</p><div> </div><p>“The one thing I truly want to tell ONCE is that even though I am moving on to a new chapter to take on new challenges, TWICE, the center of my life, will remain unchanged, just as it is now.
