MAMAMOO’s ‘4WARD’ Manila concert brings three-year reunion to life

<p>Three years after their last visit to Manila, K-pop powerhouse vocal group MAMAMOO made sure their return was worth the wait for Filipino MOOMOOs.</p><p>Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa reunited with their Manila fans for their <em>MAMAMOO 2026 WORLD TOUR &lt;4WARD&gt;</em> concert last Saturday, August 8, treating the crowd to powerful performances, fun interactions, and plenty of memorable moments throughout the night. </p><p>The group kicked off the concert with “Mr. Ambiguous,” “Destiny,” and “Egotistic,” surprising fans when they made their entrance from the audience seats.</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=476&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fweb.facebook.com%2Freel%2F1092543906617988%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=267&amp;t=0" width="267" height="476" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe><strong></strong></div><p>After making their way to the stage, the members greeted their excited fans, with Solar immediately connecting with the crowd in Filipino.</p><p>“Kumusta kayo?” Solar said.</p><p>“It’s been three years since we met the MOOMOOS here in Manila. Ngayon lang ulit kami nakabalik and maraming salamat at hindi niyo kami kinalimutan at bumalik din kayo para sa amin,” she added as per the event translator.</p><p>For MAMAMOO, the <em>4WARD</em> tour is more than just a celebration of their music but also representing the group and their fans continuing to move forward together, more than a decade after their debut.</p><p>“Once again welcome everyone and thank you for coming to MAMAMOO’s <em>4WARD</em> World Tour here in Manila. We saw how much you enjoyed that concert at that time and actually we received a lot of influence from that. laughter from both the members and the fans as she continued with the performance.</p><p>Midway through the concert, Solar revealed that the members wanted to get closer to their Manila MOOMOOs, which was why they started the show from the audience seats.</p><p>“We would like to tell our MOOMOOS that we really wanted to have an opportunity to get closer to our MOOMOOS that’s why in the beginning of the show we started from the audience seats and we had to do more,” Solar said, making everyone cheer.</p><p>True to their goal, Hwasa began her solo performance of “So Cute” from the crowd, while Wheein followed with a sing along of her song “The Symphony of Fxxkboys.”</p><p>Moonbyul kept the energy high with “Hertz,” performing in the middle of the venue, before Solar took the stage for a namin, sobra sobra kayong nag-enjoy kaya di namin yun malilimutan.
