Singer-songwriter Kenaniah is set to release his highly anticipated second album “People Pleaser” on Friday, August 21, a concept record he describes as a reflection of the inner world of someone who constantly seeks to please others.“Isa siyang concept album na lahat ng songs dito is nagsa-sum up sa isang pagiging people pleaser. So lahat ng songs dito is about sa kung anong tumatakbo sa isang isip ng people pleaser and yun, excited na akong marinig niyo and sana maka-relate,” Kenaniah said during his exclusive album listening party.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17872669143608b4952d6-bc47-43fc-9633-e9420989f913.jpg" style="width:655px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="655"/>Kenaniah unveils second album. ABS-CBN News  </div>This new album follows his debut in 2023 and, according to him, carries the weight of more life experiences and artistic growth.“&#x27;Yung difference nito sa first album ko is marami na akong mas na-experience ngayon. And nag-contribute din ‘to sa tunog nitong second album po. So maraming music na bago napakinggan. Basically, &#x27;yung life experience, &#x27;yung growth,” he explained.Among the tracks he highlighted are “People Pleaser,” “Di Mo Gets,” “Init ng Ulo,” and “Awit ng Pag-ibig,” which closes the album. Music videos are also in the works, with Kenaniah hinting that some songs may eventually be used as official soundtracks, just as his earlier hit “Bahala Na” was featured in the film &quot;Almost Us.&quot;The listening party gathered fellow artists, friends, and family, marking a milestone before Kenaniah embarks on a tour in Canada this September to promote the album.“After na ‘tong release ng album ko, magkakaroon kami ng tour sa Canada ngayong September… See you there, Canadian friends and family. Sana mag-tour tayo ng album,” he shared.Kenaniah closed the night with heartfelt thanks to his loyal supporters, known as “Kennies.”“Hindi ako makakarating dito kung &#x27;di dahil sa support niyo Kennies, so thank you so much,” he said.
