<p>Performance videos of K-pop supergroup BTS are currently unavailable on the official Grammy Awards website, prompting discussions among fans following the group&#x27;s recent announcement that they will not submit an entry to the 69th Annual Grammy Awards. </p><p>Over the recent years, BTS has become one of the ceremony&#x27;s most anticipated acts, delivering memorable performances of their global hits &quot;Dynamite&quot; in 2021 and &quot;Butter&quot; in 2022. Others, meanwhile, wondered whether the change came after BTS announced their decision to boycott next year&#x27;s awards. </p><p>Despite the unavailable performance videos, other BTS-related content including their red-carpet appearances, interviews, and Fashion Cam videos, remains accessible on both the Grammys website and its official YouTube channel. </p><p>As of writing, it remains unclear whether the missing performance videos are the result of archiving, a technical issue, or permanent deletion. The Recording Academy has yet to issue a statement regarding the unavailable videos. </p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:560px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1785742758732bts.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner">BTS performing &quot;Dynamite&quot; at the 64th Grammy Awards  </span></span></span></div><p>The development comes shortly after all seven BTS members released a joint statement on July 29 confirming that they would not submit any of their music for consideration at the 69th Grammy Awards, which is set to take place on February 7, 2027. </p><p>&quot;We decided not to submit our work for the upcoming Grammy Awards,&quot; the group said. &quot;We hope that music can be appreciated and loved for what it is, without being divided by region or language.&quot;</p><p>The group&#x27;s decision has been widely viewed as a response to the Recording Academy&#x27;s newly introduced Best Asian Pop Music Performance category. </p><p>“This Category recognizes artistic excellence in Asian pop music performances originating from or widely recognized within Asian markets, including but not limited to K-pop, J-pop and C-pop, with meaningful use of one or more Asian languages. The spirit of this new category is to shine a dedicated spotlight on these important artists. More categories mean more artists’ work is recognized. It’s never to divide, but to expand who is recognized by our 15,000 Grammy voters,” he explained. </p><p>Following both BTS&#x27; boycott announcement and the unavailable performance videos, music fans have continued to share mixed reactions online. While some support the Recording Academy&#x27;s introduction of the new category, others have expressed support for BTS&#x27; decision not to participate in next year&#x27;s awards.</p>
