Ben&Ben drops new CD, vinyl editions of debut album 'Limasawa Street'

To finally have our very own press feels surreal,&quot; the nine-member indie folk outfit said in a joint statement.</p><p>&quot;We still can&#x27;t quite believe it because we haven&#x27;t seen them in person yet, so we&#x27;re super excited—and even more so for our listeners who have been waiting for us to release our music in a format that they can really collect and have in their hands and homes,&quot; they added.</p><p>The album was remastered for vinyl and CD by Grammy-winning sound engineer Jett Galindo.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1788060192905image.png" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><p>First released in 2019, &quot;Limasawa Street&quot; features some of the band&#x27;s best-known songs, including &quot;Pagtingin&quot; and &quot;Araw-Araw.&quot;</p><p>The album earned a multi-platinum certification from the Philippine Association of the Record Industry and won Album of the Year at the 33rd Awit Awards in 2020.</p><p>The band said revisiting the album through its new physical releases brought back memories of the creative process behind its making.</p><p>&quot;The energy we had going into creating our very first album was one of the things we would never forget about that era of ours.
