ABS-CBN News</div>MANILA — Actress and singer Krystal Mejes is set to celebrate her decade-long journey in the entertainment industry with a fan meet and advocacy concert titled “Becoming,” happening this September 26, 2026 at the New Frontier Theater.Mejes explained that the title reflects her personal and professional growth.“I’ve been working since I was six… I think just celebrating my journey in the whole 10 years of being in the industry, and growing up in the industry as well,” she said.Unlike her acting roles, Mejes said the concert will allow fans to see her authentic self.“They’re used to seeing me portray different characters. But this night is just going to be really me. I’ll share stories and experiences I haven’t talked about publicly,” she noted, adding that the event will showcase “the unseen version” of her as a performer.Beyond entertainment, Mejes emphasized her advocacy. Through her outreach initiative Tala Gives, she has worked with fans on community projects.“Tala Gives has taught me compassion and service. More than having projects and accomplishments, I realized it’s important to create stories and leave a lasting impact on people’s lives,” she said.The concert will also highlight her transition into adulthood.“Becoming is not about having figured out everything, but figuring myself out with people watching me… Growth is a continuous journey and self-discovery is lifelong,” she reflected.Mejes admitted she was nervous during ticket-selling, fearing no one would attend.“Honestly po, kinakabahan talaga ako… I don’t think people are gonna come. But when I saw so many people, I was super grateful and happy. I’ll make sure it’s worth their time,” she said.Fans can expect a mix of songs that reflect her journey, collaborations, dance and singing productions, and special guests.“There’s going to be collabs, segments, and performances that really give life to my story in the industry and as a person,” she teased.
