But aside from ushering in the holiday season, September to us means the birthday month as well of two beloved stars in <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/films" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Philippine cinema</a>, none other than Jericho Rosales (September 22) and <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/films/2025/4/22/look-10-iconic-bikini-and-swimsuit-scenes-in-star-cinema-movies-1122" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Kristine Hermosa</a> (September 9), who we give a toast to through a look back at their unforgettable pairing in “Ngayong Nandito Ka”. </p><p>In this 2003 romance-drama movie helmed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng, bandmates and lovers Garie (Kristine) and Rocky (Jericho) seem to have an unbreakable relationship that will lead to happily-ever-after. Instead of following suit, Rocky decides to stay in Baguio, which inevitably breaks Garie’s heart and ends their relationship.    </p><p>Years later, Garie is engaged to Derek (Onemig Bondoc), an entrepreneur she met in Japan, while Rocky is set to seal an arranged marriage with a woman named Angela (Cindy Kurleto). In a twist of fate, Garie and Rocky are back in each other’s radars. Will they be able to stay true to their present selves while dealing with unspoken feelings about their past love?
