And to mark International Women&#x27;s Day on March 8 this year, we are honoring every single <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/films/2025/9/8/strong-empowering-women-from-4-love-triangle-movies-1816">woman</a> out there as we continue to fight for empowerment and equality.</p><p>To make our celebration even more memorable, let’s take a close look at these women in <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/films">film</a> who have inspired us to stand strong and be courageous in showing that women can overcome anything.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Josie from ‘Anak’ </strong></div><p>An OFW and a mother, Josie (Vilma Santos) proved that one can never turn her back on being a mom, even if her kids are turning their backs on her. Ina Montecillo (Ai Ai de las Alas) tried juggling several jobs — from working in construction to selling bootleg DVDs — just to make ends meet for her family. Remember how they all came in full force to take down Chad&#x27;s (Bernard Palanca) new attitude girl?
