Three of the finest singers of this country - Sofronio Vasquez III, Bituin Escalante and Jed Madela - are teaming up for a one-night only concert entitled ‘Bravo!’ABS-CBN News caught up with the three performers during their preparations for the upcoming show and shared their excitement, “Just the mere fact that we are combined together, it is the first time. I’ve performed with them individually, but as a trio, this is the first time.”Bituin said, “I’ve watched both of them and it’s the kind of performance that I really enjoy.”The set list promises to be one for the books and will cover anybody’s favorites: “There will always be a song or tow for everybody, for each audience member na pupunta, each generation, theater lover, pop, every genre, of course there will be OPM. OPM will be the core.” says Jed.  As for the youngest in the trio, Sofronio, this is another achievement unlocked in his budding singing career. After winning The Voice US, Sofronio has his homecoming concert in Cebu and this will be his first major show in Manila.“I’m just proud of myself and an achievement for a dreamer before na I’ve known them as Jed Madela and Bituin Escalante before I was given this opportunity. Proud lang ako and I am always open for learning.”Putting up ‘Bravo!’ was a challenge, creatively. Sof, Bituin and Jed are no strangers and infact, are regulars in ABS-CBN’s Sunday variety show ‘ASAP’. Their production numbers are not far from concert-like performances. Jed said, “We are very blessed that we are working with a lot of amazing creative people na iba-iba yung ideas, uy ang galing nito, hindi pa nagagawa ito. And to combine it in one show, pati kami na-e-excite.”“As the title suggests, there are ‘Bravo!’ performances.” added Bituin.‘Bravo!’ is happening on August 23 at The Theater in Solaire, Paranaque City.
