<p style="text-align:justify">Composer Stephen Tan’s entry for &quot;Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026: Philippine Selection Night” is a song of hope titled “Reason to Live.&quot;  </p><div><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/yamcw9ZrPYE?si=MEVXbVzsSVAJ_UhF" title="YouTube video player" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p style="text-align:justify">It was inspired by a challenging chapter in Stephen’s life in 2024, when he struggled with feelings of hopelessness.</p><p style="text-align:justify">“A month na lang, manganganak na ang misis ko. During that time I was very sad and parang hopeless na rin. Parang walang nagbubunga sa lahat ng ginagawa ko. Nung nagsink-in na sa akin na magiging tatay na ako, so kung wala na akong will to live para sa sarili ko, kahit para sa mag-ina ko na lang,” he said. </p><p style="text-align:justify">“Idol Philippines” season 2 winner KHIMO opened up and poured his emotions into the song, giving it the depth and authenticity it deserves.</p><p style="text-align:justify">“This time, dapat maging vulnerable ako. Dito ko narealize na it’s okay not to be perfect, and it’s okay not to be okay. Find that reason to live and find that sa mga mahal mo sa buhay, sa mga taong naniniwala sayo,” KHIMO said.</p><p style="text-align:justify">“Reason to Live” is one of the 10 tracks included in the “Pili, Pinas!: Philippine Selection Night” compilation, now available on various music streaming platforms.
