After leaving the iconic PBB house, she managed to squeeze in a heartfelt homecoming to Cebu, her roots and ultimate comfort zone. “It was nice po,” she shared with “BRGY” host Bianca Gonzalez, her trademark cheerfulness ever-present. “I just met with the people who supported me po kasi. I wanted to thank them po.”Her homecoming felt like a victory parade, complete with adoring fans eager to take selfies. “Grabe, nakakatuwa sa feeling,” she added, reminiscing about how her quiet gym visits turned into impromptu photo ops.Back in Manila, Rain’s schedule is packed with appearances and projects, but she still finds time to reconnect with her fellow “PBB Gen 11” housemates. “Especially po ‘pag may schedule po kami na nagtugma, we take the chance po to eat out, ganoon po. If there’s one thing Rain holds close to her heart, it’s the magic of road trips and the majesty of the mountains. Ask her about vacation destinations, and she’s quick to choose the rugged paths and breathtaking heights over sandy beaches. “I’d rather go to the mountains po,” she says with a sparkle in her eyes. “I love hiking po talaga. ‘Yung paghihirapan mo, and then you go on top, you see the view—oh, amazing.”Her love for the outdoors is deeply intertwined with cherished memories of her father, a seaman who spent much of his life working abroad. Rain fondly recalls how they made the most of his limited vacation time. For her family, road trips were not just travel—they were a celebration of togetherness. “When he comes home, we make the most out of his vacation leave,” Rain shares. “Cebu to Manila and then Baguio, then Sagada.”With siblings on both sides of her age, she naturally embraced the role of a nurturing yet vocal &quot;ate.&quot; “Parang bungangera po ako kasi,” she admits with a laugh. “I have brothers older and younger, so gosh, so kulit and gulo talaga. Parang lumalabas ‘yung mother in me.”Despite being a middle child, Rain exudes a strong &quot;ate vibe,&quot; a role she has embraced fully as the only girl in the family. She credits her cheerful and optimistic personality to the positive energy of the environment she was raised in.Even during tough times, Rain’s optimism has remained steadfast. “Kasi in times of like nag-struggle po kami, parang I didn&#x27;t want to bring the energy down pa when it was already down,” she explains. “Alam ko naman po na challenges are temporary po. So parang it’s gonna pass. So it’s better to just look at the bright side and it’s gonna pass.”For the “PBB Gen 11”’s 2nd Big Placer, her mom isn’t just her parent—she’s her confidant, her anchor, and the person she’s most comfortable sharing her life with. “I’m the only girl po, and my mom’s also a girl,” Rain shares with a laugh. “She’s very open. She’s ready to listen to you, very thoughtful.”Rain’s solid support system molded her into the resilient and cheerful figure fans grew to love during her time in Bahay ni Kuya. Considered a “dark horse” in the competition, her journey was as surprising to her as it was to others. “Kasi when they were telling me, akala ko ‘Ah kasi parents eh.’ Parents, anak nila ako. Malamang, they love me. Tapos ‘pag check po, legit.”A Halloween-themed task involving a mystery box became one of Rain’s most memorable moments in the PBB house. The mix of vulnerability and humor in that moment made her even more endearing to viewers.In the Mystery Box game, Rain was reminded of her childhood when the box revealed pancit, a dish commonly served at her family celebrations. “Growing up lang po talaga. Every time there’s a celebration, pinapakanta po ako. So I don’t remember the age, maybe I was very young po talaga.”The next item in the mystery box was a pair of eyeglasses, a staple in Rain’s life since Grade 4 due to vision issues that may have been present from birth. Her glasses often gave the impression that she was shy or reserved. However, Rain’s personality defied that stereotype entirely. In school, she was known for her loud and energetic nature, never allowing her glasses to define her.However, entering Kuya’s house presented a rare moment of hesitation for Rain. Overwhelmed by the experience of meeting new people in such a high-pressure environment, she initially felt shy—a feeling she wasn’t used to. By the next day, though, her natural energy and confidence had resurfaced, and she quickly began to shine as her authentic self.One of the items in her mystery box brought back strong memories of her struggles with Calculus in Grade 11. Although she was generally confident in Math, Calculus really tested her resilience. Rain remembers nervously opening her report card, realizing the pressure, and making a bold decision: auditioning for “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pbbgen112024" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">PBB Gen 11</a>.” The audition wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment choice; it had been a dream Rain had kept since childhood, though she had never pursued it before. The timing felt perfect—just days after dealing with the stress of her grades, she chose to take the leap.Rain once dreamed of becoming a radiological technologist, drawn to the idea of working with X-rays and exploring the human body. Initially pursuing STEM after considering ABM for volleyball, she found the field intriguing and &quot;cool.&quot; Now, however, Rain is living her ultimate dream—being in the entertainment industry. While her current focus is on her career, she believes it’s still possible to balance her studies and job, keeping her options open for the future.One of the most surprising discoveries was Rain&#x27;s passion for singing and songwriting. While inside the PBB house, she and fellow housemate Jarren Garcia created a song together during a quiet moment toward the end of their stay. Although it wasn’t part of a task, the song unveiled a hidden talent that Rain hadn’t realized she possessed.Beyond singing, Rain has big aspirations as a performer. She dreams of expanding her career into acting and is eager to attend workshops and take on future projects. One of her ultimate dreams is to work alongside top Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo, a goal she believes is now within reach after meeting her in person.Rain has also ventured into dancing, making her debut on the “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/asap" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">ASAP</a>” stage. Though her mother found it amusing at first, she is determined to practice and improve, encouraged by others who see potential in her. Beyond entertainment, she also has entrepreneurial ambitions, with hopes of becoming a business owner one day.Rain takes a moment to express her deep gratitude to the people who have supported her along the way. She gives a heartfelt shout out to her fans, the RainDears, for their unwavering support. “I won’t disappoint you guys for supporting me talaga. I’m gonna work harder and I’m gonna show you everything. I love you all po talaga.”
