JM Ibarra might seem nonchalant and shy on the surface, but beneath that is a colorful personality full of memories, dreams, and little quirks that reveal the real him. There's truly more to this ‘best man’ than meets the eye. Get to know him better through his memorable 'firsts' that he shared in this episode of Kapamilya Chat.

Taking on the "Kapamilya Chat Firsts" Challenge, JM revealed that the first recipe he learned in the kitchen was the classic Filipino adobo! Well, it's the easiest dish to learn. He's not a passionate chef; he simply knows how to cook enough to survive.

The "Poginsyanong Piloto-be ng Quezon" experienced his first taste of puppy love when he was around 13. Fast forward a few years, and his first heartbreak came when he was 19. It was his first real relationship, and like most first loves, a bittersweet experience that taught him a lot.

At 18, JM had his proudest moment when he explored his skill in TV broadcasting. Asked if he’d still consider a career in that field, JM expressed a willingness to keep his options open, saying the talent he developed is still there and just needs to be honed again.

As for the first song in his playlist, he mentioned that it's “Creep” by Radiohead, his go-to track no matter his mood. The first thing he does in the morning, like most of us, is check his phone.

Baguio holds a special place in JM’s heart as his first out-of-town travel destination.

When asked who the first person that comes to mind is, JM’s answer is sweet and simple: his mom. This shows how much he values his family, especially his mother, who has always been his inspiration. JM’s biggest goal is to give his family back the comfortable lifestyle they once had, or, if possible, take it even further.
