“What Lies Beneath” stars serve ‘deadly’ beauty in an “ASAP” episode filled with show-stopping performances

<p>Who needs a color palette when &quot;<a href="http://asap.abs-cbn.com"><strong><u>ASAP</u></strong></a>&quot; can give you an entire rainbow? The October 12 episode was a full-on &quot;kolorcoaster&quot; of emotions and performances from youthful harana to diva anthems and fiery comeback numbers.  </p><p>Each song and dance spectacle painted the &quot;<a href="http://asap.abs-cbn.com"><strong><u>ASAP</u></strong></a>&quot; stage with the same passion and entertainment value that have defined its 30-year legacy—one that never, ever fades. As the “<a href="http://asap.abs-cbn.com"><strong><u>ASAP</u></strong></a>” family teased, this episode was just a taste of the world-class performances awaiting Kapamilyas abroad for the much-anticipated “<em>ASAP in Vancouver</em>.”</p><p>The show opened with the magnetic energy of Gen Z OPM favorite Maki, who pulled the audience into a world painted with sound. What better way to celebrate this &quot;Pinoy pride&quot; moment than a dance battle  with the champions themselves? Flexing some moves with the group were ASAP Supahdance favorites Ken San Jose and AC Bonifacio, plus new Kapamilyas Ice Almeria and Michelle Garcia.</p><p>Four-piece OPM band IV of Spades made their much-awaited “<a href="http://asap.abs-cbn.com"><strong><u>ASAP</u></strong></a>” comeback to officially hard-launch their new era of music. The Asia&#x27;s Songbird herself joined them onstage for one awe-inspiring number.  </p><p>But proving they can slay the stage on their own, the girls took the spotlight for their debut single &quot;Don&#x27;t Ask Me Why,&quot; released under the StarPop record label. The track composed by Ezri celebrates individuality and authenticity, urging listeners to embrace who they are no matter what others may think.
