Matmat finally overcomes his fear and draws a butterfly in “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay”

Episode 61 opens with Patrick (Joshua Garcia) reminding Mia (Anne Curtis) to stay cautious, knowing that her mother could return any day, and when she does, no one can tell if she’ll appear as Olivia (Maricel Laxa) or Eden (Agot Isidro). But Mia says she’s ready to face her mother, whoever she may be. In the middle of their conversation, Patrick receives a call from Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz) asking him to come to the hospital to review the security footage showing the woman who painted the black butterfly on Matmat (Carlo Aquino)&#x27;s mural. For those who followed the original K-drama, this was the scene where the villain revealed her identity. But in the Pinoy version, the mystery remains unsolved as the woman’s face is still not shown. The only clue Patrick finds is that the woman was wearing a wig—just like Olivia when he once followed her to a café. Realizing this connection, Patrick rushes to Olivia’s house, where Doc Anok has already sent the police. But by the time they arrive, Olivia has already packed up and escaped.  Back at the mansion, Patrick watches Matmat playing with his sketches, looking worried for what’s ahead. He tells his &#x27;manong&#x27; to be brave in the coming days, especially if Olivia or Eden ever shows up again. Matmat&#x27;s childlike mind pieces things together and then nods as he understands that he should never go near the two after Patrick explains that they’re no longer hospital staff because they’ve done harm to patients. Although confused at first because he remembered how Olivia and Eden gave him the Mama Dinosaur stuffed toy, Matmat realizes being brave also means knowing who to trust.  At last, Matmat finds the door out of his fear as he&#x27;s able to draw a butterfly—and a beautiful one at that. Doc Anok feels proud upon seeing the colorful butterflies on Matmat’s mural. The black butterfly that the mystery woman painted has been covered with bright and vivid colors, as if symbolizing Matmat finding his way out of darkness. Doc Anok is moved, knowing how difficult it is for someone like Matmat to overcome such deep trauma.  At the compound, Mia and Patrick gather everyone to talk as they wish to let their “family” know the real danger they’re facing with the looming return of Ingrid. The group debates how to deal with Olivia and Eden, and what the truth behind everything could really be. Jason (Francis Magundayao) and Vincent (Enchong Dee) believe the two former nurses are only stirring chaos for attention or money, while Gemma (Kaori Oinuma) thinks the tension between the two and the behavior they&#x27;ve shown feel too real to fake. Nanay Li (Rio Locsin), on the other hand, says that no matter what happens, she’ll protect the children she already treats as her own even if it means going through hell for them. Amid the tension, the mood lightens when Mia amuses everyone for being unusually agreeable as she accepts Vincent’s suggestion of hiring bodyguards. Then she surprises them all again by proposing a celebration at the mansion because she and Matmat have finally completed their book. At the mansion, the atmosphere is light and festive, with the cinematography giving off a classic fairytale glow that makes everything look dreamlike and calm before the chaos. Everyone is smiling, and for a moment the world feels safe again. Vincent can’t help but admire Gemma&#x27;s beauty, and then he catches her just in time as she loses balance.  Mia asks Madeth (Xyriel Manabat) to have the celebration livestreamed to trigger a reaction from Olivia or Eden. Soon, everyone is on their feet as live violin music fills the room. Doc Anok invites Li for a dance and makes a confession that he wishes for her to be the one beside him when he retires next year, while Patrick, Mia, and Matmat also dance together. Outside, suspense begins to build as Dipong is seen driving past the mansion, leaving us, viewers, wondering where or from whom he got the car. After receiving a message on her phone, Mia rushes out and drives away as if chasing after him, prompting Patrick to hurriedly take Vincent’s car so he can follow her before it&#x27;s too late.  Suspense runs high, but so does the hope for healing in the finale week of &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/its-okay-to-not-be-okay" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">It’s Okay to Not Be Okay</a>.&quot; Catch the final chapter on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), A2Z, and TV5, weeknights at 8:45 PM.
