What’s a fantastic way to spend a day on vocal rest, have a different kind of fun, and vibe with your friends? For OPM artists Darren Espanto, Morissette Amon, Maki, Alexa Ilacad, and Angela Ken, it’s the “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/rainbowrumble">Rainbow Rumble</a>” rush. Host Luis Manzano opens the show referencing the said star-studded line-up through musical lyrics as hints or, rather, the soundtracks for love sung by the musical performers. To name a few, there’s Darren’s “Paalam Muna Sandali,” Alexa and KD Estrada’s “When I See You Again,” Maki&#x27;s “Dilaw,” Angela Ken&#x27;s “Ako Naman Muna,” and Morissette’s “Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw.”Darren takes the lead in staging the artistically packed session along with swift wits after inviting his fellow OPM stars to the October 19 episode. <div><script data-wid="auto" type="text/javascript" src="https://content.viralize.tv/display/?zid=AAFz8gWM8iRADsJr&amp;cid=ABnq41HDRDhL8L-L"></script></div>In the “Rally to the Top” round, singer, actress, and cafe owner Angela Ken wins the final cash prize of 72,000 pesos, making her “Ako Naman Muna” moment come true.After the competitive showdown among the ‘pitch perfect’ musicians, they cheerily shared their “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/rainbowrumble" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Rainbow Rumble</a>” experiences.When asked how they felt about not making the jackpot round, all of the artists expressed happiness and contentment with their fun participation in the game. Darren, one of the frontrunners of the game on par with Alexa, shared, “Okay lang kasi, ‘yung goal po talaga namin ng mga kaibigan ko ay to have fun at makalaro sa ‘Rainbow Rumble.’”Morissette, dubbed “Asia&#x27;s Phoenix,” expressed similar sentiments while also appreciating Darren for assembling the group. “I’m just super happy kasi sobrang nag-enjoy po ako and just very grateful din na na-invite po ako ni Darren kasi siya talaga ‘yung pakulo nito,” she said.Maki, the self-written singer of “Kolorcoaster,” added, “Okay lang ‘yun. Ang mahalaga is nag-enjoy kaming lahat.”When dealing with the hardest parts of the game, D’ Total Performer, Darren, mentioned how he often got mental blocks: “Talagang sa utak ko nawala siya, nakuha ko ‘yung words afterwards na nung nawalan nang time.”In a fit of smiles, Morissette emphasizes the hand movements to get the sensor running. She also made it a point to highlight her co-artists’ intelligence throughout the game: “Sobrang natuwa din ako kasi mga kasama ko… Hindi lang sila mga face pero brains din po talaga. Sobrang nakaka-proud po.” The first pointer of the game, Maki, conveyed that the unpredictability of the questions was the challenging part: “Hindi ko kasi sure. Laging unpredictable ‘yung sasabihin ni Kuya Luis nang last part,” he shared.As the artists look back on their experience, Darren, who grew up in Canada before moving to the Philippines, revealed that he could not forget how he learned the word “Luksong Tinik,” one of the answers to the “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/rainbowrumble" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Rainbow Rumble</a>” questions. “Wala talaga akong alam na Filipino street games, unless meron din siya sa Canada,” he recalled. Meanwhile, Morissette focused on the educational aspect of the game, “At the end of the day, general knowledge lang po talaga siya.
