After embodying pop icon <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/10/5/week-1-alexa-ilacad-earns-praise-for-her-show-stopping-performance-as-chappell-roan-yfsf-2025-0120">Chappell Roan</a> last week, Alexa Ilacad brought a touch of vintage glamour to the October 25 episode of &quot;<a href="http://yourface.abs-cbn.com">Your Face Sounds Familiar</a>&quot; as she transformed into the classic Connie Francis, known for her hit “Pretty Little Baby.” Alexa confessed that, as a Gen Z, she isn&#x27;t too familiar with Connie’s era of music but she does know the song “Pretty Little Baby,” which went viral recently, and which she even performed once on &quot;<a href="http://asap.abs-cbn.com">ASAP</a>.&quot; During vocal mentoring, Klarisse de Guzman guided her to capture Connie’s light and flowy tone, reminding Alexa to remove her natural vibrato and keep the sound sweet and dainty. Meanwhile, movement mentor Nyoy Volante told her to imagine herself as a kindergarten teacher to capture Connie&#x27;s signature warmth and sweetness. And the moment she stepped out of the &quot;iconator,&quot; Alexa charmed everyone with her grace and poise in her “Pretty Little Baby” number. After the performance, hosts Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario came up with a game where Alexa sang while baby photos of them, the celebrity performers, and judges flashed on the LED screen. After that adorable segment, judges Ogie Alcasid, Klarisse, and Nyoy praised her transformation. Nyoy lauded Alexa for transporting the audience straight back to the ’50s.
