Anton reveals the main reason for joining “PBB Collab 2.0,” activities he loves to do with his father Roi Vinzon

<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1761790907623New Project (25).jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div>Just nearly three years into his acting career, the Anton Vinzon has already appeared in three notable projects under GMA, which include a teleserye, two drama anthologies, and a youth-oriented show. He shared that his role in the teleserye has not only allowed him to exhibit his promising acting chops but also helped him improve his relationship with his mother.  Since his father, veteran actor Roi Vinzon, has been known for his kontrabida roles in the movies and TV programs he has starred in over the past decades—just like the character he currently plays in “<a href="http://batangquiapo.abs-cbn.com">FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</a>”—Anton is also being developed as an action star. However, if his father is to be asked, he related that he actually advised him to avoid taking on villain roles.   Many may have assumed that his dad pressured him to follow in his footsteps in showbiz, as well as that they are wealthy due to his father’s status, which Anton both refuted. Seemingly, the truth is that he was simply inspired by his dad and that their family has been living a humble life ever since he was born in Baguio City. While he’s grateful to have Roi as his dad, Anton imparted that his main reason for joining “<a href="http://pbb.abs-cbn.com">PBB</a>” is to be known not just as an actor’s son, but as someone with his own story and identity. However, it has been his dream to star in a major project alongside him.  Even though it has been seldom for them to see and bond with each other, the “Astig Anak-tion Star ng Baguio City” is still able to develop a tight bond with his parents by sharing several bonding activities together. He and his dad love going to the gym, watching movies, practicing taekwondo, firing at the range, and training in self-defense, while he and his mother bond over yoga, cooking, and even giving each other massages. Despite being the only boy among four siblings, Anton is still able to establish close-knit ties with his sisters, especially with his sister Lala, with whom he often sings live duets. He considers John Mayer and Ed Sheeran as his musical influences.  Although work tends to be demanding and exhausting, he has managed to juggle it with school. In fact, he&#x27;s currently in his freshman year in a culinary arts school, taking up a culinary arts degree.  While cooking tends to be one of the greatest concerns in every batch that goes inside Bahay ni Kuya, the “<a href="http://pbb.abs-cbn.com">PBB Collab 2.0</a>” housemates have nothing to worry about this time since Anton enjoys cooking, and hopefully, he can serve them his mother’s version of “ube sinigang.”   Aside from acting, cooking, and singing, he’s also interested in sports like basketball, muay thai, fencing, and football, which have apparently helped him achieve and maintain a fit physique. Even though he’s still young, he has already developed an entrepreneurial side and has expressed passion for business since 2023. Unbeknownst to many, their family actually runs a coffee shop in Angono, Rizal, and a farm in Pampanga.
