The Anak TV Seal helps ensure parents that the programs being aired are suitable for children. The Makabata Star awardees, meanwhile, were voted on during the various symposia on media literacy and program screenings conducted by Anak TV in major schools and universities across the country. The Net Makabata award is based on the results of online voting held from 14-18 November, where netizens cast their votes for personalities they deem help positively shape and influence the lives of children and netizens.</p>
