From unfailingly astounding us with her high-octane and captivating dance numbers on “<a href="http://abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/asap">ASAP</a>” every Sunday, AC Bonifacio indeed surprised us when she suddenly danced her way to the “Pinoy Big Brother” house as one of the housemates of the ongoing “<a href="http://abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab">PBB Celebrity Collab Edition</a>.” But prior to her entrance, she provided us first with her showstopping selfies during her “hotel arrest,” which we collated in this gallery!True to her moniker, “Ang Dedicated Showstopper ng Canada,” AC, whose biological name is Andree Camille Bonifacio, has apparently displayed nothing but dedication towards her craft ever since she was still a kid. Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, it was in 2012 when her dancing career started along with her dance partner, Lucky Ancheta, whom she competed with in various local and international dance contests. They also got cast in the 2014 American film “Step Up: All In” as backup dancers.Their tandem, dubbed “Lucky Aces,” rose to popularity when their dance covers went viral online, which paved the way for them to be invited to guest in a popular talk show in the United States and to perform with global pop superstar Ariana Grande at her show in Vancouver in 2015. They then joined the ABS-CBN reality dance competition “Dance Kids,” wherein they were eventually declared the grand winner.AC’s showbiz career in the Philippines had completely taken off when she participated in the celebrity singing and impersonation contest, “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids Season 1,” through which she was able to further showcase not only her dancing prowess but also her skills in singing and acting. She went on to appear in other Kapamilya shows that allowed her to continue honing and exhibiting her acting talent, namely, “Wansapanataym: Amazing Ving” (2017), “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (2018), “Playhouse” (2018), “Almost Paradise” (2020), “Lyric and Beat” (2022), and “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/highstreet2024/articles-videos/10-must-see-moments-showcasing-ac-bonifacios-tranformation-as-nikki-in-high-street-22594">High Street</a>” (2024).
