First Golden Buzzer moment and show-stopping acts— “Pilipinas Got Talent” returns with an epic opening weekend!

That’s how long Filipinos have waited to once again witness jaw-dropping, heart-pounding, and scintillating performances on the &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pilipinas-got-talent-7"><strong>Pilipinas Got Talent</strong></a><strong><u></u></strong>&quot; stage. And now that the brand-new season has finally arrived, let&#x27;s just say, it did not disappoint. </p><p>The opening weekend saw the PGT stage come alive with riveting acts that had the audience cheering in full force. One act stood out and earned the coveted Golden Buzzer, a rare &#x27;honor&#x27; given to performances so phenomenal that they deserve a ticket straight to the finals. Each of the judges, as well as hosts Robi Domingo and Melai Cantiveros, has one chance to press the Golden Buzzer for an act they deem worthy. </p><p>This season&#x27;s first Golden Buzzer treat went to Femme MNL, an all-gay dance group who wants to show the universe that they&#x27;re &quot;confidently beautiful and talented with a heart.&quot; The group set the stage on fire with their high-energy routine, complete with powerful choreography, impeccable synchronization, and some comedic touches that made the act all the more captivating. Hip-hop had never looked this &#x27;soafer bongga!&#x27;  </p><p>Their &#x27;pasabog&#x27; performance earned them a standing ovation from none other than Judge Freddie “FMG” Garcia, who went for the word &#x27;world-class&#x27; to describe the production. Judge Kathryn Bernardo couldn’t stop gushing about how brilliant their number was, while Judge Donny Pangilinan praised the sheer power and passion they displayed. Meanwhile, Judge Eugene Domingo expressed her admiration for all gay performers.  </p><div><iframe width="913" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/j2lDSOJ5jHA" title="Femme MNL receives the GOLDEN BUZZER from Robi and Melai | Pilipinas Got Talent 2025" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>As soon as the routine ended, the audience erupted into cheers and started chanting “Golden Buzzer!” In the middle of the euphoric atmosphere in the studio, hosts Robi and Melai walked onto the stage hand in hand, and faced the group with knowing smiles before pressing the Golden Buzzer. Gold confetti rained down as Femme MNL became the first act of the season to secure a spot in the finals.</p><p>Talent overflowed on the &quot;PGT&quot; stage as several other acts also delivered truly phenomenal performances, earning their spots in the next round. Contestants who receive at least three &quot;yes&quot; votes from the judges automatically advance to the Judges&#x27; Cuts, where the panel will face the tough task of selecting only the finest acts to move on to the semi-finals.</p><p>In its first two nights of auditions, eight contenders successfully secured their &quot;yes&quot; votes from the esteemed judges. Among them is Mamam Boys, the very first featured act of the season, who received unanimous approval for their one-of-a-kind and hilariously unexpected concept. As their name—mamam—suggests, their talent revolved around an interpretative rendition of &quot;My Heart Will Go On&quot;—all while dramatically spewing water from their mouths. Armed with just multiple decks of cards, he made every move both mysterious and thrilling. With a lively medley featuring the Jamaican folk classic &quot;Day-O (The Banana Boat Song),” the infectious party anthem &quot;Boom Shack-A-Lak,&quot; and the playful song &quot;Shoot Shoot,&quot; they turned the entire venue into a full-blown fiesta.</p><div><iframe width="913" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/99N6UACNLc4" title="Judges, humanga sa performance ng Olayapanit band | Pilipinas Got Talent Season 7" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>The excitement soared to new heights, literally, as Dwyne Lopena took the stage, or rather, the open grounds, as PGT’s first outdoor act of the season.
