In its May 4 episode, &quot;<a href="http://abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/asap">ASAP</a>&quot; remembered, honored, and celebrated the &quot;Superstar&quot; Nora Aunor.The second gap was devoted to Nora, with Janine Gutierrez commencing the segment by narrating the inspiring journey of her Mama Guy from being an impoverished kid from Iriga, Bicol to becoming a highly successful actress and singer in showbiz, with a stellar career spanning around seven decades.Those who got to follow her career would certainly know that one of the significant parts of it was her tandem with veteran actor Tirso Cruz III, fondly called “Guy &amp; Pip. Thus, “ASAP”’s seasoned singers and Gen Z loveteam Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin performed a slew of duets of songs associated with the Guy and Pip pair. Together with the “ASAP Chorale,” Jed Madela and Angeline sang “Superstar ng Buhay Ko” by Cinderella. FranSeth’s kilig version of “Maria Leonora Theresa” was filled with nostalgia, as several of their fans rushed to the stage to hang sampaguita garlands around their necks while they were singing—just like what was usually happening when Nora and Tirso perform together during their time. It was followed by Erik and Zsa Zsa’s “I Can’t Stop Loving You” and Regine and Ogie’s “Together Again.”Martin then quizzed Janine about what makes her Mama Guy “super” for her, to which she replied, “For me, siyempre nakita ko talaga kung paano niya napasaya ang mga tao. Like every time may nasasalubong siyang tao, para talagang pamilya ang trato niya or anak ang trato niya. Pati ‘yong ibang artistang nakakatrabaho niya only have nice stories of how she made them feel loved and accepted.
