Throughout the six-month run of “Incognito,” we’ve followed the individual and collective journeys of its seven main characters who didn’t only have to undertake dangerous and important missions against criminals as members of a private military company, but also to confront their personal struggles that involve their respective families.

Comprised by their leader, a.k.a. “Kontraktor,” Col. Greg Paterno (Ian Veneracion) and his valiant six “Kontraks,” namely, JB Bonifacio (Richard Gutierrez), Miguel Tecson (Baron Geisler), Gab Rivera (Maris Racal), Tomas Guerrero (Anthony Jennings), Max Alvero (Kaila Estrada), and Andres (Daniel Padilla), we have witnessed how they aggressively fought together in pursuit of a common mission.

They may have lost some of their battles, have gone through misunderstandings, and have problems of their own that they have to resolve, yet they have remained tightly bonded, which is proven by the light moments they had shared together whenever they were out of the battlefield.

And now that the well-loved action series nears “The Final Mission” finale, let us revisit the 10 scenes that captured both their teamwork and camaraderie in this episode of Kapamilya Toplist!

Like many of us, one of the Kontraks’ favorite way of celebrating the success of their mission is throwing a mini party, wherein they would drink booze, exchange fun anecdotes, banter with each other, and even jam to a song that all of them know. Among the occasions when we saw them did it was after their mission against infamous human trafficker Timor Escalera (Art Acuña) and when they welcomed Miguel back after he took a break from participating in their missions.

Their triumphant moment in Cerdova after their intense crossfire with a mafia group affiliated with Timor was also worth-remembering since, aside from the fact that it was Gab’s first time to join them, it was their first-ever successful mission, too. Besides, they had managed to fight against the enemies and make it out of the warzone safely, which was already an enough reason for the Kontraktor and his mighty Kontraks to have a little celebration.

The group did the same after their very challenging yet victorious battle against notorious drug lord Sameo Patel (Epy Quizon) and his henchmen. The Kontraks assembled right after they were able to finish their mission and reached the jump-off point of Mt. Talimba, where Sameo’s headquarters was located. Before boarding their vehicle going home, the Kontraks had a light moment wherein they looked back on what they went through, especially their silly experiences while taking on the tasks that the Kontraktor had entrusted to them.

While Greg was often not present in their get-togethers, he was able to join them when he brought along with him Andres, after he was able to persuade him to return to the group for their mission against Sameo. Everyone was indeed happy to see Andres back, most especially Tomas who gave Andres a sweet and delectable welcome by preparing various pastries for him.

Apart from his return, the Kontraks also expressed their happiness for Andres when he relayed to them that he finally found his long-lost younger brother Jun (Louise Abuel), a.k.a. Diego Aguinaldo, and got reunited with him as well.

And it was not only during the good times when the Kontraks were able to prove that they are one and solid but also during bad times. We got to witness it when Andres got confined in a hospital and Gab, Max, and Tomas stayed by his side until he gained consciousness.

We further got to see their genuine love, concern, and support for one another when they poured out their hearts as they talked about the pain and grief of losing their respective loved ones. Even though his family was spared since they were already abroad, Miguel couldn’t help but be still sad and heartbroken for his beloved comrades-turned-family.

When it was his turn to say his piece, Miguel began by conveying how grateful he was that his wife and son were safe, yet his heart was shattered for his comrades at the same time, as they unfortunately lost their families due to Manuel Aguinaldo’s (Joem Bascon) reckless and fatal vengeance scheme.

Dapat kasama ko sila ngayon pero hindi ko kaya eh, dahil hindi ko mapapatawad ‘yong mga ginawa nila sa inyo, sa pamilya n’yo. Dahil ang sugat n’yo, sugat ko rin. Your pain is my pain. Your fight is mine,” he stated, then went on to add, “We’re not just a team; pamilya tayo. The kind of family that they can’t mess with. And that is us!”

Will the Kontraktor and the Kontraks succeed in their final mission? Let’s all find out by not missing the last episodes of “Incognito,” weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), A2Z, and TV5.
