<p>In every season of “Pinoy Big Brother,” housemates face a new set of tasks and challenges designed to test them in different ways. In the current edition themed as &quot;collab,&quot; where housemates from Star Magic (AC Bonifacio, Esnyr, Brent Manalo, Klarisse de Guzman, River Joseph, Ralph De Leon, Kira Balinger, Xyriel Manabat, Emilio Daez, and Bianca De Vera) and Sparkle (Ashley Ortega, AZ Martinez, Will Ashley, Josh Ford, Charlie Fleming, Dustin Yu, Mika Salamanca, Michael Sager, Shuvee Etrata, and Vince Maristela) had to live under one roof and learn to work together, the tasks weren’t just tests of skill, but were also crafted to measure their heart and &quot;samahan&quot; or sense of camaraderie. </p><p>Each activity became a collaborative experience. And of course, they gave us moments that were equal parts intense and downright entertaining. As we near the Big Night, let’s look back at the unforgettable activities that challenged, strengthened, and shaped the character of the &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>PBB Collab</em></u></strong></a>&quot; housemates.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>When You Say Nothing at All</strong></div><p>Who could ever forget this Holy Week task where the housemates were given a total of only 20 hours to speak. Only one group (either male or female housemates) could talk at any given moment. If the girls were speaking, the boys had to stay silent, and vice versa, with every slip-up costing them an hour deducted from their total. But instead of quiet reflection, the challenge spiraled into a heated confrontation that trended online and became one of the season’s most iconic moments. Task leader Klarisse de Guzman reminded everyone to keep their distance from their “comfort persons” so they wouldn’t accidentally talk, specifically calling out Dustin Yu and Bianca De Vera. During their conversation, which Klarisse initiated, Dustin asked her why she had to mention him and Bianca by name. Klarisse, visibly upset, stormed off while shouting, “OA! The housemates trained tirelessly to perfect juggling, plate spinning, and flower stick routines. First was an outer cloak that symbolized the misconceptions people have about them, and during the walk, they would remove this cloak to reveal an inner outfit that represents their true selves. They were mentored by houseguest Michelle Dee on walking runway with confidence. The goal was to deliver a continuous take without a single mistake. Their mission was to guide him in delivering three Filipino lines perfectly in each act, which was no easy feat given the language barrier. For every line Kim Ji Soo nailed, the housemates earned the chance to remove one layer from their tricky Hearts Tower, where they were split into two groups tasked with stacking a five-foot-tall tower of cups shaped like half a heart on a floating platform. Among the three, River’s anger was the toughest to catch on camera since he’s known for his calm and gentle demeanor, making even a flash of fury a rare sight. Netizens couldn’t help but compare it to a high-stakes elimination battle—think &quot;Squid Game.&quot;  </p><p>The first part was a race against the clock in a battle of brains, with housemates answering six Tagalog questions, then flipping cubes using a spatula to show the first letter of their answers on top. Here, the Kapamilya housemates played against each other, and the same went with the Kapuso bracket. Each housemate started with 10 balloons on a board and had three chances to roll a ball across a platform, hoping to land it in slots that could earn them extra balloons. Then, using the same ball-rolling method, they aimed for numbered targets to decide how many balloons they could pop from another player’s board. The battle continued until only one housemate remained with at least one balloon intact, while everyone else faced automatic nomination.</p><p>As the game progressed, the challenge felt like a test of conscience, as housemates were forced to decide, face-to-face, whose dreams would be pushed further out of reach. Once all the pieces were on the other side, they had to assemble the puzzle in the correct pattern. AzVer, showcased incredible endurance and teamwork in one of the most grueling tasks of the season. In the second Big Jump Challenge, the competing duos each had to piece together seven massive blocks that spelled out “BIG FOUR,” using only their body parts to keep the blocks upright and connected. The longer they lasted, the harder it became, especially with Kuya’s sudden rule changes. Both duos had to maneuver plastic cups through a maze within Kuya’s time limit, then stack them into a tower at the end. The duo with the taller tower would win the last Big Four spot. BreKa emerged victorious with their higher stack, completing the Big Four and making DusBi the season’s final evictees.</p>
