His paralysis further strains their relationship as Patricio dismisses his educational ambitions.Determined to prove his father wrong, George sets out to stand on his own and face life’s challenges head-on despite his condition. He customizes a tricycle suited for his disability. He finds unwavering support from the community and Emily (Empress Schuck), a single mother who becomes his wife.
