She then played Julie, a young sexual assault survivor diagnosed with psychosis, in the 2019 episode “Sabik.”</p><p>Lastly, in the 2020 episode “Ungol”—the most viewed of the three—she took on the role of Rhea, the sweet youngest member of her family who is deaf, mute, and also a sexual assault survivor. In “Lotion,” Mary Joy portrayed Bernadette, a woman born with Crouzon Dermoskeletal Syndrome (CDSS), who struggles with feeling unloved and seeks genuine affection.
