From making us kilig as real-life couple <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2026/1/25/week-9-jmielle-serves-pure-kilig-in-a-tj-monterde-and-kz-tandingan-performance-yfsf-2025-2111">TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan</a> in the previous round, JM Dela Cerna once again found himself transforming into another female icon as he and loveteam partner Mariell Montellano recreated Christina Aguilera and Sabrina Carpenter’s duet of “What A Girl Wants” in the 10th round of “<a href="http://yourface.abs-cbn.com">Your Face Sounds Familiar</a>.” JMielle’s performance was inspired by a 2024 video of the two artists jamming to the song, filmed as part of Christina’s 25th anniversary celebration in the entertainment industry. Marielle channeled her inner diva by stepping into Christina’s shoes, while JM did his best to capture Sabrina’s innate sultriness. Given that their vocal ranges and personalities are vastly different from those of their respective icons, not to mention that JM had to don a quite sexy outfit for his second gender switch, JMielle admitted that they greatly challenged by this particular transformation. Since the song they performed was titled “What A Girl Wants,” hosts Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario playfully quizzed each other about moments when they found it difficult to figure out what a girl really wants. They also included juror Ogie Alcasid to the discussion, as well as JM, who humorously revealed Marielle’s big appetite. ‘Megastar’ Sharon Cuneta began her comment by noting JM’s flawless legs and apparent discomfort with his costume, then went on to utter how the ‘Birit Duo’ had never failed her, making her their ‘loving fan.’ Meanwhile, ‘Mr. Pure Energy’ Gary Valenciano, pointed out how the two managed to save their performance despite committing a minor error—one that many viewers likely did not even notice. Ogie, on the other hand, touched on the palpable chemistry of JMielle, with him and Sharon teasing the loveteam again over JM’s amusing revelation about Marielle.
