Janell Gonzaga radiates joy as young Alice in these “What Lies Beneath” behind-the-scenes snaps

<p>One of the indisputable strong points of “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/what-lies-beneath" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>What Lies Beneath</em></u></strong></a>” certainly has to be their meticulous selections for the show’s stellar ensemble, which brought together award-winning Kapamilya artists as well as promising young talents.  </p><p>Among the featured rising child stars in the teleserye that performed their best in the emotionally charged and pivotal scenes is Janell Gonzaga, also known as the five-year-old Alice Quintana-Miller, also portrayed by <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2025/10/21/what-lies-beneath-erica-kinompronta-ang-mga-kaibigan-dahil-sa-pagkakakulong-ni-edong-episode-2-2136" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>Eliza Borromeo</u></strong></a> as the teenage version and Janella Salvador as the adult Alice.  </p><p>On her official Facebook page, Janell would be seen warmly interacting with her co-stars, most especially with Janella Salvador, during on-set preparations.
