“Kuya vs. Bunso Challenge” brings out River and Bianca’s charming ‘sibling’ rivalry

<p>After the delightful conclusion of their thrilling conversation about their meticulous preparations for “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/the-secrets-of-hotel-88" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>The Secrets of Hotel 88</em></u></strong></a>” in the February 26 episode of “Kapamilya Chat,” River Joseph and Bianca de Vera brought out their sibling-like bond to the lightning-fast “Kuya vs. Bunso Challenge.” </p><p>Each of them was instructed to choose a random letter, which will determine the word that they’ll need to create quickly, prompting them to excitedly battle one another to rack up points. In detail, River’s answer should be the first letter, while Bianca’s pick should be the last letter for their spontaneously generated word.  </p><p>River swiftly took the first point when he had cleverly formulated the word “Bata” (Filipino term for “child”) as soon as Bianca paired “A” with his letter “B.” Bianca then quipped that River’s Tagalog workshop for the series has truly paid off, making him laugh in affirmation.  </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="1020" height="574" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/rr-NCbskY6g" title="River Joseph and Bianca De Vera | Kapamilya Chat 2026" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>As if their minds had linked briefly alongside their synced laughter, the two simultaneously said “Zebra” for the second round, with the point being won by Bianca, who took the lead by a few seconds.  </p><p>Bianca emerged with two points on their third attempt, spotlighting another widely used Filipino term, “Tita” (which means “Aunt” in English). Her streak continued with the term “Call” on the fourth trial but was left surprised by River’s instant comeback with the fifth keyword being “Chalk.” </p><p>The duo reached multiple tied scores, with River moving forward with the word “Follow” and Bianca catching up with “Laban” (or fight). Supposed to be the final round, they unexpectedly and humorously synchronized once more with the noun “road.”  </p><p>To crown the winner, the tie-breaker level commenced, with Bianca declaring the letter “Y” and River announcing the letter “F.” Bianca then found herself comically referencing another Kapamilya show, “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” but River ultimately emerged as the victor with his final word, “Fly.” </p><p>Don’t miss the unfolding tensions and intriguing family drama in “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/the-secrets-of-hotel-88" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>The Secrets of Hotel 88</em></u></strong></a>,” on iWant, with episodes streaming seven days ahead of free TV.</p>
