Award-winning actor JM de Guzman starred opposite Barbie Imperial in the Precious Hearts Romances series “Araw Gabi,” which premiered in 2018 on ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold afternoon block. Viewers got to meet Michelle (Barbie), a girl with a bright and sunny disposition. Despite the hardships in life, she managed to get by because her Mamay (Candy Pangilinan) and Papay (Dennis Padilla) taught her to always see the good in every situation. She had her eyes set on bagging the Tranquila Resort account because it would be a big boost for her career. Adrian’s (JM) life, on the other hand, was full of darkness. He was the CEO of the Olvidar Group of Companies, where Tranquila Resort, a vacation spot situated in El Paraiso, was part of. Because of a sin he committed 18 years prior, he was considered a ‘beast’ by his employees and an outcast in his hometown. Michelle and Adrian started on the wrong foot, and as the two crossed paths again, Mich learned that Adrian was the owner of Tranquila Resort. Adrian rejected Mich’s proposal, which crushed her hope for a promotion at work. But Mich didn’t give up easily and decided to go to El Paraiso to research and create a better pitch. As she set foot on the island, she found out about Adrian’s life and the mystery behind the lighthouse she had been dreaming of. “Araw Gabi’s” cast included Rita Avila, Vina Morales, Ara Mina, Raymond Bagatsing, RK Bagatsing, Jane Oineza, Phoebe Walker, Paolo Angeles, Ysabel Ortega, Victor Silayan, Arlene Muhlach, Eric Nicolas, and Joshua Colet. “Araw Gabi”  was directed by Theodore Boborol, Don Cuaresma, and Mylah Ajero Gaite under the business unit of Ruel Bayani.
