Stella explains that she is simply motivated to work for money. Meanwhile, Vincent is absorbed in work until he hears the clanking of plates and pans from the kitchen. He goes downstairs to check and sees a figure in a hoodie, suspecting an intruder. Without hesitation, he attacks from behind and pins the person down—only to discover that it is Stella.Vincent immediately apologizes to Stella, who is startled by what just happened. “Ganto ka ba talaga bumati ng ‘good morning,’ nandadamba?” she quips. Stella explains that she was only preparing breakfast for him and had entered the house using the keys he had given her. Stella notices the lack of sleep on Vincent’s face, and he admits that he has just been busy with work.
