Stella (Kim Chiu) clashes with Claudia’s (Sofia Andres) antics in the June 23 episode of <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/the-alibi" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">“The Alibi.”</a>Vincent (Paulo Avelino) and Stella part ways as Claudia seeks their help to protect her from Arthur (John Arcilla). Vincent returns to take Bea (Ayesha Bajeta) out of their family house, while he asks Stella to look after Claudia for the meantime and help her escape. Vincent successfully takes Bea, though Arthur orders his men to watch him closely.Meanwhile, Stella and Claudia make their way out of the Cabrera residence. Claudia remains skeptical of Stella’s actions, but eventually follows her and hides in a dump truck that helps them get out of the premises. Vincent, along with Bea, clears the inspection conducted by Arthur’s bodyguards, and he takes his daughter to his house, asking George (Thou Reyes) to watch her for a short time.Claudia and Stella, on the other hand, arrive at a private yacht. Claudia grows wary about her safety, but Stella assures her that it was Vincent who asked them to stay there for a while. Stella mocks her attitude despite the danger looming around them. “Kung ikaw, natitiis mo ‘yang baho at dumi, ako, hindi! Sabagay, sanay ka naman sa basura,” Claudia reiterates.Stella counters that Vincent himself asked her not to leave Claudia behind and to stay with her. Claudia orders Stella to call Vincent and tell him to come immediately, as he is the only person she wants to be with at the moment.“Alam ko naman na ayaw mo sa akin. At lalong hindi rin naman kita gusto! Tinutulungan lang kita dahil kailangan ka namin,” Stella reminds Claudia, adding that she is simply following Vincent’s instructions. She then asks Claudia why she is in such a rush to run away from Arthur, but Claudia refuses to speak, as she does not trust Stella at all.Danger looms as Claudia races to escape Arthur’s reach.
