Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas) at last reveals his true identity as Hassan Wadi to Jalil (Gerald Anderson). He begins by describing the unlawful acts he committed as a member of the syndicate led by Colonel Napoleon Marcelino (Ryan Eigenmann), which involved smuggling illegal firearms, causing mayhem in several communities, and more, owing to the belief that they were doing such things for the country. He goes on to explain how he and Victor (Rafael Rosell) both wanted to leave the syndicate after witnessing innocent lives being murdered and merely recognized as collateral damage. In fact, they attempted to prevent the explosion of the M/V Doña Emilia but were unsuccessful in doing so.Besides that, Datu Rahman did everything he could to grant Victor’s dying wish, which was for his family to be safe. However, it was just Jalil, or rather, Gabriel, who was rescued by Hassan, eventually making the choice for the two of them to start their new lives at Isla Damai. Jamilah (Barbie Imperial) then helps out with the Datu’s confession, expressing that he felt fearful about seeing Jalil’s reaction. Tearing up, Datu Rahman continues by offering an emotional apology. After listening to everything, Jalil does not cease to show kindness, mostly expressing gratitude to Datu Rahman for risking his life in order to save him. On top of that, the Datu and Jamilah became his beloved family, and they helped him become the man he is today.If not for Datu Rahman’s determination, Jalil would never be reunited with his real family, namely Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) and Teresa (Susan Africa). Given all that was said, Jalil deeply understood the Datu’s secrets and took greater pride in how he was trying to fix his mistakes. Jalil ultimately promises to fulfill his mission, aiming to punish those who deserve retribution so that Datu Rahman may also be liberated from his past. How will Datu Rahman’s truth change everything?
