General Carillo (Bodjie Pascua) places the blame on Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas) and Jalil (Gerald Anderson) for every crime that has occurred involving illegally acquired weapons. Along with that, the Datu’s real identity as Hassan Wadi is also revealed publicly, resulting in greater shock and skepticism, particularly from Marcus (Richard Gutierrez). As soon as Marcus hears about the explosion of M/V Doña Emilia, he leaves NLEA’s headquarters and heads toward Barangay Surga to find out the truth from Datu Rahman himself. Finally meeting with Datu Rahman, Marcus immediately asks him questions concerning M/V Doña Emilia, bearing in mind that it was the exact ship where his little brother Gabriel perished. Both Jalil (still disguised as Major Allan) and Jamilah (Barbie Imperial) listen attentively, prepared to calm the situation if necessary.Datu Rahman corrects General Carillo’s false statements since at the time he was determined to prevent the explosion from happening. He further recounts how he became acquainted with Marcus’ father, Victor Reyes (Rafael Rosell), who also passed away while they were trying to defuse the bomb. In response to Marcus’ disbelief, Jamilah clarifies that she learned about Marcus’ missing father from his mother, Teresa (Susan Africa), but she is only able to find out the truth recently. Ultimately, Datu Rahman discloses the ways he and Victor were manipulated by the syndicate they were a member of, as well as their intentions to quit, flee, and begin new lives.
