How did Pokwang fare the third time she played 'Kapamilya Deal or No Deal'?

<p>Third time wasn&#x27;t exactly the charm for Pokwang on <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/kapamilya-deal-or-no-deal"><strong><u>&quot;Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.”</u></strong></a> Yup, she’s gone head-to-head with the Banker three times, so let’s revisit her previous plays and compare them with the latest one.</p><p>Her first ‘Deal or No Deal’ guest appearance dates back to 2013, when she teamed up with Angelica Panganiban, her longtime co-star on the sketch comedy show &quot;Banana Split&quot; (later &quot;Banana Sundae&quot;).</p><p>That was followed by another shot during Season 5 in 2015 when she was joined by her eldest daughter Mae Subong, and because of it we now have a theory that motherhood has always been Pokwang&#x27;s biggest lucky charm.</p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zhO-y05b8hk" title="Kapamilya Deal or No Deal Replay | Full Episode 177" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>Back then, Pokwang shared that Mae was super shy and not exactly interested in entering a relationship. Not that she&#x27;d be allowed to anyway—Mama Pokwang was firm about not letting her entertain suitors until she finished college. Unless, of course, they won the P1 million jackpot, she joked that it might be enough to change her mind.</p><p>Right from the briefcase selection, Pokwang made it all about her daughter when she chose to gamble on Briefcase 18 because Mae was born on the 18th. Mae&#x27;s birthday worked its magic as they started strong, opening the ₱300 case first. Even after two rounds, every major cash prize above ₱50,000 was still very much alive on the money board.</p><p>That dream start, however, came with a major plot twist in Rounds 3 and 4 where the ₱500,000 and ₱1 million prizes were eliminated back-to-back. Fun fact (well, not-so-fun for Pokwang): the ₱1 million briefcase was with her fellow comedian Long Mejia.</p><p>But instead of dwelling on the missed prizes, Pokwang figured she might as well just enjoy playing with her daughter. Luckily, Round 6 gave them another little win after they opened the ₱5 case, which unlocked the Banker&#x27;s highest offer of the game—₱144,000.</p><p>Pokwang let her practical-mom instincts take over. Thinking about how much ₱144,000 could already help cover Mae&#x27;s tuition, she accepted the Deal, and good thing she did because she was so close to becoming a &quot;pisonaryo&quot; as her chosen briefcase turned out to contain just ₱1.</p><p>Pokwang&#x27;s third and latest face-off with the briefcases and the Banker was just as unforgettable when she returned on the show, this time as among the Lucky Stars (the lineup of celebrities holding the briefcases).</p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="966" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ERwyHQqLObc" title="Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal Episode 24: Pokwang | July 12, 2026 | Full Episode" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>On the July 12 episode of the current season, Pokwang didn&#x27;t expect the Lucky Wheel to land on her as the next celebrity player. Although she felt unprepared, she happily accepted the challenge. Pokwang also gave a little update on her love life, sharing that she&#x27;s single and not looking for a relationship after separating from the dad of her second child Malia (whom she gave birth to in 2018). Her daughters already keep her heart full, she said. Well, love may not be on her radar, but she did have one wish—that Banker would show her bank account some love instead.</p><p>Unlike her previous run, where Mae was right by her side, Pokwang took on this one solo. Sadly, the game plan didn&#x27;t work as the bigger prizes kept disappearing, with the ₱500,000 amount getting knocked out as early as Round 3.</p><p>Pokwang&#x27;s showdown with the Banker was a total roller-coaster ride.
