Arthur quickly fires at him and then runs after Stella.Stella hides as Arthur lashes out at Vincent, blaming him for Matthew’s death. “Dad, hanggang kailan niyo ba ako sisisihin sa kasalanang kayo ang nagsimula?!” Vincent cries, pointing out Arthur’s greed for power that destroyed their family. Jacqueline steps in, telling Vincent to put the blame on her instead of Arthur.Flashback shows how Jacqueline covered up for Matthew in killing Walter after Matthew begged her to save him from imprisonment. Jacqueline and Matthew later disposed of Walter’s body. Seeing that he was still alive, the two panicked and were unsure of what to do.Guilt washes over Jacqueline. As she attempts to ask for help, Matthew stops her and threatens to end his own life rather than spend time in jail. This prompts Jacqueline to save Matthew over Walter, instructing one of their bodyguards not to seek help but to call Arthur instead.Jacqueline covers for Matthew after Walter’s death.
