Melai, Argel, and Elyson play the ultimate ‘Hot Shots’ game on “Kuan on One”

<p><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/2026/8/14/stream-live-action-of-star-magic-all-star-games-2026-via-abs-cbn-youtube-membership-iwant-tickets-1001" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>Star Magic Shooting Stars</u></strong></a> basketball players and proud Bisdak hunks Argel Saycon and Elyson De Dios joined Kuantie Melai Cantiveros-Francisco in the August 11 episode of “Kuan on One.” Both Argel and Elyson opened up about their inspiring life stories and fitness journeys.</p><p>To make things even more exciting, Argel and Elyson took on the “Hot Shots” challenge in the “Dakong Problema” segment. They were asked a series of intense questions while shooting a ball into a cup. If they failed to answer, they had to take off a piece of clothing. Asked which celebrity had ever sparked a fight between him and his close friend Jas Dudley-Scales, he quickly replied, “Wala pa.” Melai then followed up by asking Argel about his celebrity crush. Without hesitation, he named Multimedia Superstar Anne Curtis. </p><p>The spotlight then turned to Melai, whose question had everyone buzzing with anticipation. She was asked to name the celebrity over whom she and her husband, Jason Francisco, had last argued. Playfully trying to dodge the consequence, Melai answered Ivana Alawi—but her answer was deemed incorrect. As a result, she had to wear a colorful wig, keeping the game’s fun and energetic atmosphere alive. </p><p>Elyson took on the dare next when he was asked, “Sino ang celebrity friend mo na problematic in real life pero hindi alam ng ibang tao?” He refused to answer and simply removed his watch. However, the mechanics soon got tougher as players were no longer allowed to remove accessories, with only their clothing counting toward the challenge. The rule change added another layer of fun and excitement to the game.  Argel faced another test when he was asked which person he once idolized but no longer admired after meeting them personally. Choosing not to answer, he slipped off one of his shoes. The crew then added another playful twist: players could only remove items visible on camera. This prompted Argel to take off his sweatshirt instead.</p><p>In the next round, Elyson shared the trait he wished he had that Argel possesses. He quickly answered, “biceps,” sparing himself from the consequence. In return, Argel admitted that he envied Elyson’s English accent. “Magaling siya magsalita ng English,” he remarked. </p><p>Melai kept it real when faced with the pointed question, “Sino ang celebrity friend mo na hindi mo na kaibigan at bakit?” Feeling the weight of the question, she honestly answered, “Wala.” </p><p>Meanwhile, Elyson was tasked with naming a famous basketball player he thought wasn’t actually good. Struggling to come up with an answer, he tried to name himself, but it didn’t count. As a result, he had to take off his jacket. </p><p>Melai was then asked about her least favorite body part of Papang (Jason). Staying true to her trademark humor, she confessed that it was his backside, joking that the smell could sometimes get unpleasant.  </p><p>The next question went to Argel: “Sino ang celebrity o influencer na hindi mo gusto ang content?” Unable to come up with an answer, he faced the consequence and took off his shirt. </p><p>The tension shifted to Elyson, who was challenged to reveal the last girl he had texted and what they talked about. Grinning, he proudly showed his conversation with a special someone, earning praise for his honesty.  </p><p>The spotlight then swung back to Melai. Asked which celebrity she would never want to work with again, Melai chose not to answer and immediately threw on another garment, sending everyone into laughter with her playful antics. </p><p>Argel wasted no time sharing his biggest turn-off in a woman. He quickly answered, “Bad hygiene,” a response that everyone agreed with.  </p><p>Elyson closed the round by revealing the last celebrity he pursued romantically but was told to stop.
