“PBB Gen 11” alums Kai and Jas battle it out in the “Ow-M” Challenge | Hello Outside World

<p>“<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pbbgen112024" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11</em></u></strong></a>” 4th Big Placer Kai Montinola and former housemate Jas Dudley-Scales opened up about their friendship, which began inside Bahay ni Kuya and blossomed into a deeper bond beyond the showbiz spotlight, during the August 19 episode of “Hello Outside World.” </p><p>In a lively chikahan with hosts Bianca Gonzalez and Esnyr Ranollo, Jas and Kai talked about their friendship as well as their individual journeys before and after their “PBB” stint, as they continue to pursue their growth as artists in the entertainment industry. </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="916" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VKWWP7ubnhU" title="Jas Dudley Scales and Kai Montinola: WALA NANG TINAGO?! | Hello Outside World Ep. 4" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>The episode also sparked some friendly competition between the “PBB” alums as they took on the “Ow-M (Outside World Mission)” challenge, going head-to-head in a series of games. </p><p>For their first mission, Kai and Jas were asked to check their phones to see who had the lower screen time. Jas revealed that she had logged 9 hours and 8 minutes of mobile usage, while Kai stunned everyone—including Bianca and Esnyr—with a whopping 26 hours. </p><p>Kai shared that she often watches YouTube videos to help her fall asleep. Jas, meanwhile, recalled the nights when she, Kai, and fellow “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pbbgen112024" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>PBB Gen 11</em></u></strong></a>” housemate Rain Celmar would stay on video calls until dawn.  </p><p>“I’m just nocturnal talaga. I like calling my friends at night, and I like sleeping in the morning kapag walang work,” Kai admitted. </p><p>For the next challenge, the two pulled out their wallets to see who had more cash on hand. Jas went first, showing off bills in different currencies that she had kept from her travels. She also proudly revealed the personal mementos inside her wallet, including Polaroid photos of her “PBB Gen 11” batchmates Kai, Rain, and Jarren Garcia.</p><p>Kai showed her wallet next, proving that she, too, always carries petty cash. Jas noted that Kai is known in their group as the one who always has money on hand. While many Gen Zs have embraced cashless and online payments, the two highlighted the importance of keeping some cash within reach. </p><p>The challenge then turned into a quiz bee, with the players writing their answers on mini whiteboards as Bianca and Esnyr threw in a series of quirky questions. When asked to guess Esnyr’s age, both took their time before revealing their answers. Kai guessed 24, while Jas scored the point by correctly guessing that Esnyr is 23.</p><p>The spotlight then shifted to Bianca, as the two were tasked with identifying her married surname. Feeling the pressure, Kai guessed “Ibarra,” while Jas answered “Intal.” Jas earned another point, as Bianca is married to former PBA player JC Intal. Bianca explained that she doesn’t use her married name professionally, noting that many people may not be familiar with her husband’s surname. </p><p>Since Kai and Jas are both Gen Zs, the challenge leveled up by asking them to identify random items more commonly associated with Gen X and Millennials. Their first test featured a photo of a Betamax player. Kai guessed that it was a “music player” or “karaoke machine,” while Jas wrote down “DVD player.” </p><p>For the final prompt, Kai and Jas tried their luck with another nostalgic item: a Walkman.
