“BaeRan” and “Kung Fu Kuanda”: The funniest mix-and-match name creations from Melai and Run Dolph Vibes

<p>Melai Cantiveros-Francisco’s close friend, Run Dolph Vibes, recently joined “Kuan on One” to share her inspiring journey—from growing up on Balut Island in Sarangani to becoming one of today’s most-followed content creators and philanthropists. </p><p>And with the fun in full swing, Kuantie Melai and Run Dolph took on a “Dakong Problema” challenge called “Mix and Match.” They were tasked with answering questions by combining two names into one playful response.</p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="916" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/DO1PIm_MmiA" title="RUN DOLPH VIBES: “Di nato sayang-sayangon ang mga pagkaon.”| KUAN ON ONE S5 EP11" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>The first challenge? Coming up with the perfect name for Run Dolph’s ideal boyfriend. With Melai’s help, they mixed and matched the names of Kapamilya heartthrobs Donny Pangilinan, Piolo Pascual, and Gerald Anderson to create their ideal picks. </p><p>In the end, Run Dolph chose Donny Pangilinan, blending his name with Enrique Gil’s to come up with “DonQue.” Melai, on the other hand, came up with “ArSon,” a mix of the names of Star Magic Shooting Stars players Argel Saycon and Elyson De Dios. </p><p>Next, the Bisdak duo were tasked with coming up with a name for the child of Melai and Papang Jason. Run Dolph delivered a clever pick—“Melasma”—explaining that it was a combination of “Mela” and “Dasma,” since the child would supposedly be conceived in Dasmariñas, Cavite. Melai, meanwhile, answered with “Aprilson,” explaining, “Dahil [sa] April siya lalabas, tapos syempre lalagyan kong pangalan ni Jason.” </p><p>The challenge got even more exciting when the next prompt asked them to come up with a title for Kuantie Melai’s next teleserye or movie project. Drawing from her past interviews, where she was often asked to remake the classic “Ang Tanging Ina,” Melai gave it a fresh spin with “Tanging Ina N’yo.” </p><p>Run Dolph’s answer proved to be a perfect fit for Melai’s title, as she came up with “Tanging Ina N’yo Rin!,” sparking laughter from everyone in the studio and earning Melai’s nod of approval.</p><p>For the final prompt, both were tasked with creating new names for themselves by combining two characters.
