Team PH and Team Thailand wrap up their historic SEAbling Showdown at Star Magic All-Star Games 2026

If there’s one thing Filipino fans know how to do aside from cheering their hearts out, it’s making their guests feel right at home. And the GMMTV All-Stars from Thailand certainly felt the love as their historic SEAbling Showdown with the Star Magic Shooting Stars during the All-Star Games 2026, on August 23 at the Mall of Asia Arena, turned into a celebration of friendship and hospitality.  Shooting Stars made history  as they conquered their first-ever international challengers. The GMMTV All-Stars, meanwhile, were all smiles as they wrapped up their Philippine hardcourt debut as first runner-up. During the post-game interview, River Joseph asked Joss Way-Ar Sangngern if he enjoyed the experience, and the Thai star gave an enthusiastic yes. Win or lose, Joss is grateful for the warm reception from Filipino fans and he&#x27;s more than ready to come back for a rematch. Joss was kind of feeling sentimental, sharing that this might be his last basketball game for a while. And if he had to step away from the hardcourt, he was glad this one happened in the Philippines, where the crowd’s energy made the entire GMMTV team feel nothing but love. The celebration also came with belated birthday greetings for Gawin Caskey, who treated the crowd to a sample of his song and pulled Joss in for an impromptu duet. The cheers kept coming as the players took turns thanking their supporters and sharing their thoughts on the historic matchup.
