<p>While the recent seasons of “<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/pinoy-big-brother-collab-v2" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>Pinoy Big Brother</em></u></strong></a>” have kept us hooked with the entertainment-driven antics of today’s housemates, the earlier editions had a different flavor. That spirit lives on through remarkable housemates who, even today, are still remembered for their authenticity during their time inside Bahay ni Kuya.  </p><p>In a nostalgic episode of “Hello Outside World,” “PBB Season 1” Big Winner Nene Tamayo and “PBB Celebrity Edition 1” Big Winner Keanna Reeves looked back on their personal journeys—from what led them to audition for the reality show to the struggles that shaped them into two of PBB’s most unforgettable winners. </p><p>As their stories unfolded, Keanna and Nene later took on the “Pasok o Pass” challenge. In the game, the two were given random prompts and had to respond with “Pasok” if they agreed or “Pass” if they didn’t, sharing their hot takes on various issues. </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="916" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hRKzS7p__Ns" title="Nene Tamayo and Keanna Reeves: BINENTA ANG LAHAT?! | Hello Outside World Ep. 5" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>Plastic surgery has long been a topic of debate, with people weighing its purpose—whether it’s meant to boost confidence, enhance one’s appearance, or simply help someone feel better about themselves. When asked for their opinions, both Keanna and Nene didn’t hesitate to answer “Pasok.” “Naniniwala kasi ako na if it makes someone feel better, why not, ‘di ba?” Nene admitted.  </p><p>Keanna echoed Nene’s sentiments, noting that while she hasn’t undergone any aesthetic procedures herself, she has no qualms about others choosing to do so. Building on that perspective, Keanna proudly shared her own experience of enhancing her features. “Sa generation natin ngayon, normal na eh,” she quipped, recalling how people who underwent plastic surgery were once mocked, whereas today, such procedures are widely accepted.  </p><p>Host Bianca Gonzalez then steered the conversation toward discipline, asking for their thoughts on how today’s generation leans more toward gentle parenting compared with the old-school approach of “pamamalo.” </p><p>Keanna stood firm in her belief that “pamamalo” can help instill respect and responsibility. Based on her observations of children today, she noted, “Matigas ang ulo, hindi nakikinig. Gadget nang gadget,” adding that kids are now more prone to getting sick and becoming spoiled by too many snacks and unhealthy food.  </p><p>Raising the “Pasok” banner on physical discipline, Nene shared how she explains her approach to her son. “Kailangan ‘yun. Sabi ko sa anak ko, ‘Responsibilidad ko na disiplinahin ka. You’re not gonna like it right now pero you’re gonna thank me later,’” she said, staying true to her palaban, “kumander” nature as a responsible parent.  </p><p>When asked whether they would prioritize their partner over their children, both PBB alums answered “Pass,” finding the comparison unnecessary. For them, their children will always come first. “Ang anak hindi puwedeng palitan,” Keanna affirmed. </p><p>Traditionally, men were expected to pursue women before entering a relationship. But times have changed, and women now make the first move for someone they like, too. Thus, when asked about women taking the initiative to court men, Nene answered “Pasok.”  </p><p>She cited her son, who is currently in a relationship, as an example. “Babae na rin ‘yung lumalapit, pero sabi ko sa kanya, don’t take advantage. Never take advantage,” she said, adding that Gen Z today may navigate relationships better because they are more open to communication.  </p><p>Meanwhile, Keanna wasn’t opposed to the idea either, but advised women not to go overboard when expressing their feelings. “’Yung parang magpakita lang ng motibo na type kita,” she said, stressing the importance of maintaining a woman’s dignity even while pursuing a relationship. </p><p>Need a midweek breather?
