<p>Some people are just impossible to understand, as we wonder why they&rsquo;re so worked up over someone who hasn&rsquo;t even done anything bad to them. Just like NCIA Agent Pia Catacutan, impressively played by returning actress Katherine Luna, whose deep-seated anger toward her subordinate, Agent Sam Jacinto, portrayed by Julia Montes, in &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/sigabo" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Coco Martin&#39;s Sigabo</strong></a>&quot; has been palpable and definitely makes us wonder where she&#39;s coming from.</p><p>Now that Pia has succeeded in having Sam expelled from the NCIA&mdash;at least temporarily&mdash; and it has also been revealed that she is connected to the Zafras, let us revisit five of their intense face-offs in &quot;<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/sigabo" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Coco Martin&#39;s Sigabo.</strong></a>&quot;</p><div><br></div><div><iframe width="913" height="543" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gbFCO6ef__U" title="5 intense disputes between Sam and Pia in Coco Martin's Sigabo | Friday 5" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br></div><p>Right from the very first time that they saw each other, we already felt the tension between these two strong femme fatales. Based on how Sam&#39;s team reacted upon seeing Pia, as well as how Pia sarcastically greeted them, it was easy to figure out that they were not exactly cordial with each other, even at work.</p><p>Viewers got to witness further during the case briefing of Sam&#39;s team, where Sam presented to Pia, Director Fernando Delgado (Soliman Cruz), and the other agents involved in the case the strategies they came up with to finally capture notorious gold-smuggling syndicate leader Victor &quot;Tigre&quot; Zafra (JM de Guzman). Pia challenged their plans by trying to find loopholes, but Sam came prepared and managed to respond to her questions cleverly and confidently.</p><p>Pia&#39;s attempt to malign Sam and undermine her leadership continued after Sam and her team accomplished their mission of arresting Victor. As Pia noticed how she seemed not happy despite their success, Pia not only taunted her but also warned her about investigating what happened, since many of their agents had been injured during their encounter with Victor and his minions. Sam refuted Pia&rsquo;s accusation that they had not prepared adequately, saying that mishaps are sometimes unavoidable during an operation.</p><p>After succeeding in placing Sam under the scrutiny of the NCIA administration and recommending that she be suspended, Pia once again found another reason to attack Sam. She accused Sam of putting the lives of her teammates in danger just so she could play the hero. Sam insisted that her decision to act on her own and apprehend Mr. Chan (Mike Castillo) without informing or asking for the permission of Dir. Delgado was something she did for the NCIA and not for herself.</p><p>But Pia wasn&#39;t convinced and threatened to file another report against her. She mockingly told Sam, &quot;Abangan mo ang report ko. Tingnan natin kung may magagawa ka pa para sa ahensya. Jacinto ka pa naman, pero sa apelyido ka lang magaling.&quot; And it wasn&#39;t only Sam whom she was hostile toward, but also her team.</p><p>She may have finally won after the NCIA higher-ups agreed to Sam&#39;s temporary suspension, but Pia was still not done insulting her. When she caught Sam wiping away her tears outside the office of Dir. Delgado, Pia tried to provoke her by asking where her badge and gun were. She even called her a typical &quot;nepo baby&quot; who assumed that she could do anything and easily get away with her wrongdoings without being punished.</p><p>When Sam argued that she was only doing what she believed was right, Pia replied, &quot;Hindi. Ginawa mo kung ano &#39;yong gusto mo. Masyado kang pabida e, hindi ka bayani, Sam. Ikaw ang pinaka malaking liability sa NCIA ngayon!&quot;</p><p>Just when Pia thought she had intimidated Sam enough and shaken her resolve, Sam still chose to show up to her meeting with the NCIA administrators with regard to her temporary suspension. Pia admitted that Sam&#39;s courage and conviction indeed impressed her, but mockingly advised her to make the most of it because it might already be her last. Pia further tried to provoke Sam by saying that it was better for her to be gone from NCIA since things were only getting messier and more chaotic.</p><p>Are we going to see them clash again now that Sam is temporarily banned from service?
