Gordon Ramsay Will Open His First Restaurant In Manila

One of the things you expect of any global city noted for its gastronomy is long, delicious list of the best restaurants and food hubs to choose from. Next year, Manila will add one more shining brand to its roster of restaurants, when celebrity chef and TV personality Gordon Ramsay will open in Newport World Resorts.

The muti-Michelin-awarded chef has been a household name for decades, and has earned for himself various nicknames, including The Iron Chef, The World’s Angriest Chef, the Mad Scotsman (yes, he’s from Scotland), and even the Sultan of Grill because yes, he’s that good with a grill. He’s got a fan base all over the world, but few have actually had the chance to eat his food. Well, hungry gourmets of Manila, you're in luck.

The new Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill opens in the second quarter of 2024, and will have a thoughtfully curated selection of legendary rare breed steaks, grilled specialties, and the freshest market seafood. Chef Gordon's iconic Beef Wellington will be one of the standout dishes on the menu.

“The opening of Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill within the property by the second quarter of 2024 is part of Newport World Resorts’s epic transformation,” he remarks. “We are delighted to partner with chef Gordon Ramsay on his first restaurant in the Philippines.
