Around two decades ago, we used to watch her every Sunday as one of the pioneer batches of adorable and talented kids that brought us laughter and good vibes in <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/goinbulilit">Goin’ Bulilit</a>. And now, Trina “Hopia” Legaspi is a loving and hands-on mom with her own bulilit that she shares with her non-showbiz husband, Ryan Jarina.After “graduating” from the long-running kiddie gag show in 2008, Trina has appeared in several television programs and movies, through which she was able to further hone and showcase her acting prowess. During her time away from the spotlight, she focused on her studies until she finished her Communication degree at Miriam College, then worked as a financial advisor while also taking on showbiz projects. It was apparently during her time out of the spotlight that she met her husband, Ryan, who’s a scion of a prominent and successful family.While not much is perhaps known about their romantic affair during their seven years of dating, what we observed was their immense fondness for traveling. Her Instagram has been filled with photos and reels of their excursions in and out of the country, with Disney Theme Parks being their apparent top favorites.They got engaged on November 22, 2020, after six years of being together, and tied the knot twice. The first one was a Christian wedding held exactly a year after their engagement at the Holy Trinity Anglican/Episcopal Church in Makati City, while the second one was a Catholic ceremony held in November 2022 at Christ the King Parish in Green Meadows in Quezon City.Aside from the second ceremony being a celebration of their first wedding anniversary and a fulfillment of their promise to Ryan’s deceased grandparents to exchange vows in the said parish, it was also that momentous day when the couple announced that they’re having a baby. Months later, they welcomed their firstborn, a healthy baby girl they named Kaela, in March 2023.Going through her posts on Instagram, it seems that Trina enjoys being a doting full-time mom to Kaela and a loving wife to Ryan. While their young and little family has been spending most of their time at home, they were able to already take her to Paris, France, in April 2024.According to Hopia, it was originally their honeymoon destination, but had to reschedule it because of her due date.
