<p>MANILA - The Philippine National Police (PNP) said it will look into a police officer&#x27;s partisan posts on Facebook, following the PNP&#x27;s pledge to remain apolitical in the May 9 elections.</p><p>PNP Deputy Director General Danilo Constantino advised members of the PNP to avoid posting controversial pictures and statements on social media.</p><p>A recent Facebook post of Chief Supt. Ronald dela Rosa, where he threatened to &quot;crush&quot; those planning to cheat on election day, has gone viral.</p><p>&quot;I am the Brigade Commander of the PNP RSSF (Reactionary Standby Support Force) composed of 8 battalions close to 5,000 personnel based in Camp Crame. Kayong mga mangdadaya at mangliligalig ngayong May 9 elections, humanda na kayo! WE WILL CRUSH YOU!!! He said, however, that this is not because of the latter&#x27;s Facebook posts, but because of his tasks as executive officer of the PNP Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (HRDD).</p><p>&quot;Police Chief Supt. Ronald Dela Rosa is the ex-o [executive officer] of HRDD. Alam naman natin dito sa national headquarters ang workhorse ng directorate, mga executive officers, we are tasking him in giving orientations to our NHQ [national headquarters] personnel. Marami-rami, it might take few days bago matapos &#x27;yon, considering napakarami nila, baka hindi matapos ang sessions, kelangan tutukan ng HRDD yon,&quot; he explained.</p><p>He added that they will look into Dela Rosa&#x27;s posts and determine if he can be held administratively liable for his posts.</p><p>&quot;We will ask the [PNP] internal affairs to look into this, kung mayrong possible administrative liability si Chief Supt. Dela Rosa regarding posting sa Facebook account niya,&quot; Constantino said.</p><p>&quot;I believe it is addressed to everybody. Wala naman siyang partikular na pinatatamaan, o pinatutungkulan sa kanyang posted statements.
