The Philippine entertainment industry is no stranger to producing exceptional talents, and among the brightest of the new generation is Daniela Stranner. With a unique blend of talent and charisma, Daniela has quickly captured the hearts of many. She’s more than just a pretty face and a brilliant actress—there’s so much more to her story. Here’s a closer look at this rising star through 10 fascinating facts she shared about herself. Read on and check out the video from ent.abs-cbn.com!

Fact number one is that she has four dogs that she adores immensely. We think this reveals a tender, nurturing side of hers that endears her even more to her fans.

And who doesn’t love a sporty gal? Before she conquered the film/TV set, she first slayed on the soccer field. Yup, she used to play soccer! From kindergarten to high school, she attended the same campus. If she is this loyal, then she’s worthy of admiration, right?

Hailing from Angeles, Pampanga, she is proud of her roots. She also revealed that she's half-German. In an impressive display of dedication, Daniela studied Mandarin for six years. Despite this, she humorously admits that she still struggles to speak Chinese fluently.

One thing she has mastered, though, is her driving skill.

In 2021, Daniela’s talent was recognized on a grand scale when she was nominated for Best Actress at the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) for the movie “Love At First Stream.” She considers this her first real project, as her initial appearance in "Make It With You" was cut short when the show was cancelled midway due to the pandemic.

But it was through her portrayal of Zyra “Z” Aguero in “Senior High” that Daniela gained significant popularity and attention from casual viewers and netizens. Her compelling performance as the character with a complex backstory earned her the title of the Next Big Kontrabida. Interestingly, this was her first time playing a villain.

Proof of her impact as Z is the loud clamor from audiences wanting to see her return in the "Senior High" sequel, titled "High Street." Despite her hectic schedule, as she’s also filming for the upcoming Dreamscape Entertainment series "Pamilya Sagrado," Daniela managed to coordinate her commitments and join the cast of "High Street," much to the delight of her fans.

Follow Daniela in “High Street,” airing weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z. Extend your support for her by also tuning in to “Pamilya Sagrado,” premiering on June 17 at 8:45 pm on the same platforms.
