She may be dubbed the “Hugot Queen,” but madlang people’s favorite “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime">It’s Showtime</a>” guest co-host Bela Padilla is actually very happy and in love in real life with her beloved non-showbiz Swiss-Italian boyfriend Norman Ben Bay, to whom she’s been in a relationship for more than four years.In an interview with ABS-CBN News showbiz correspondent MJ Felipe, she revealed that it was in 2017 when their paths first crossed in Zurich, Switzerland, during the filming of her movie “Meet Me In St. Gallen.” They became close when Norman invited her to spend the holidays at their place since she was still there during the season, and he advised her that nobody should celebrate it alone.Even though she had to return to the Philippines, Bela and Norman kept in touch, which eventually prospered into friendship and then romance. They officially became a couple on February 22, 2020, as they’ve been celebrating their anniversary on that date every year. However, it was in October 2020 when she first introduced Norman on social media by posting a set of photos of them together captured in Cappadocia, Turkey, while she was doing an ocular for the next movie that she was about to do then.Since then, Bela has been proudly sharing some of their sweet and beautiful moments together, may it be their travels and adventures, dates, and birthday and anniversary celebrations.They may have been in a long-distance relationship in the past four years, yet they never miss to make each other feel extra loved on their special days by posting their kilig dedications on Instagram. However, there were instances that they’re together in celebrating their milestones, such as when Bela turned 32 in 2023 and he surprised her with an intimate, treasure hunt-themed birthday fete attended by her closest family and friends in London.From usually meeting abroad, Bela was able to take Norman here in the Philippines in April 2024 when they attended the intimate beach wedding of one of her besties, Angelica Panganiban, held in Siargao.Since Norman, who has quite a resemblance with British singer-songwriter and One Direction member Harry Styles, one of Bela&#x27;s favorite artists, is not a celebrity, she has been keeping their relationship lowkey.
