Cianne Dominguez is proof that life is full of surprises, with her venture into showbiz becoming a whirlwind of unexpected twists. Several other opportunities have landed in her lap since joining the “Sexy Babe” segment on “It’s Showtime,” the most notable being the release of her new single titled “Traffic” and her continued role as a host on the highly-rated noontime show.

“Sobra akong clueless,” she gushed, reminiscing about the day she found out she’d be part of the “It’s Showtime” hosting crew. She vividly recalls receiving a message from the staff on a Sunday, asking her to report to the studio the next day – this was after the “Sexy Babe” segment concluded. She had no idea about what to expect, but she went anyway. Initially told her gig would only last two weeks as a trial run, but here she is, almost two years later, still part of the show.

For Cianne, "It’s Showtime" has been a life-changing experience, shaping not just her career but also her outlook on life. Charming us with her contagious smile that lights up the entire room, she tells Kapamilya Chat that being part of “It’s Showtime” is a privilege.

One effective way to sharpen a dreamer’s abilities is to immerse her in a bigger world, as Cianne has experienced with a live show headlined by industry giants like Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis. She describes her "It’s Showtime" stint as a litmus test that has refined her talent and quick-thinking skills.

“Mas nahasa ‘yung pag-iisip ko kung paano ako magre-response sa mga tao, kung paano ko ilalalabas ‘yung sarili ko,” she said, attributing her personal growth to the top-rating noontime program.

It seems the universe has a soft spot for the 23-year-old aspiring beauty queen, as she found herself on the show just when blessings started raining down on it. At times, she feels overwhelmed, still unable to soak up the reality that she’s now part of the program and working with some of the industry's biggest stars.

Even now, she still feels a bit shy about mingling and bantering with the original hosts. It's kind of surprising, considering how well she does her job. But, perhaps it’s because she adapted quickly, thanks to everyone being so welcoming.

“Sobrang bait pala nila. Very welcoming ‘yung ipapa-feel nila sa’yo, masasasabi mong family,” she smiled. “May makukuha kang aral at mga advice from them. Ang sarap lang makinig sa kanila kasi ang dami na nilang na-experience sa buhay. Para sa akin ‘yun ang best part, ‘yung nakukuha mong knowledge sa kanila.”

And what’s even better is being in such a cheerful environment. There are days when she's not feeling her best, but her co-hosts effortlessly share their positive vibes with her whenever she needs a boost.

As a former ‘kontesera’ in singing and beauty contests, Cianne feels grateful as her dreams gradually materialize. She feels even more thankful when she hears the stories of "Showtime" contestants.

“Grabe ‘yung plans ni Lord, na parang, may reason talaga kung bakit hindi natutuloy ang ibang bagay. May place kung saan ka niya ilalagay na mas better,” she expressed.

But her ambitions don't stop here. She's already gearing up to compete in Miss Universe Philippines by the age of 25. With her talent, charm, and determination, the sky’s the limit for Cianne!
